  • All measurements must be taken and entered in millimeters (mm). 94cm = 940mm

  • Do not use a ruler or tailor’s tape. Always use a steel tape measure for accurate results.

Recommended (Installation on the window frame):

Recommended (Installation on the window frame):

1. Measure the width of the window opening (W)

Make sure the window frame has at least 32 mm of flat space on each side for installation.

2. Measure the height of the window opening (H)

The top edge of the window frame must have at least 40 mm of space, and the bottom edge at least 20 mm.

3. Enter the dimensions W and H in the product calculator.

The internal dimensions of the roller insect screen frame are tailored to fit the window opening.

The overall (external) dimensions of the product are increased as follows:
Width: +64 mm (32 mm on each side of the window opening – left and right)
Height: +60 mm (40 mm above the opening and 20 mm below)

Optional (Installation in the window recess):

Optional (Installation in the window recess):

1. Measure the window recess width (W).

Measure at the top (W1) and bottom (W2) of the recess. If the measurements differ, use the smaller value.

2. Measure the window recess height (H)

3. Enter the dimensions W (W1=W2) and H in the product calculator.

When measuring your window recess (overall size), please note that the final product’s external dimensions will match the measurements you provide.

Important: Before placing your order, make sure there is enough space within the window recess for proper installation.

For correct fitting, please take into account the overall dimensions of the roller screen components:

Side guide rails (each): 32 mm wide
Top cassette: 40 mm high
Bottom rail (“foot”): 20 mm high

Ensure there is sufficient space in the window opening for these elements and that they do not interfere with the window frame, handle, or other hardware.

Where to Install

Roller insect screen works best on frequently used windows — kitchen, living room, bedroom. Avoid windows where people may push, scratch, or knock against the screen. The mesh is not impact-resistant; rough treatment by children or pets will shorten its lifespan. For those situations, consider other product Pet Screen in fixed insect net frame

Cleaning

Vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment to prevent dust buildup. For deeper cleaning: remove the screen, place it flat in a bathtub or on the lawn, and rinse with a garden hose. If dirt remains, scrub gently with a soft brush and mild soapy water. No solvents, no abrasive cleaners.

Removal & Storage

No removal needed in winter – simply roll the screen up into the cassette. Remove only if replacing or deep cleaning.

Take care of your screen and it will take care of you – season after season.

A roller blind insect screen for windows retracts upward into a compact cassette when not in use, similar to a window blind. When you need insect protection, simply pull the mesh down to cover the window opening, and retract it upward for full window access. It is ideal for windows that are opened and closed frequently. Roller insect screens are suitable for European-style inward-opening windows as well as Scandinavian-style outward-opening windows.
Roller insect screens for windows are installed depending on the window type - on the outside of the window when it opens inward, or indoors when the window opens outward. The mesh is equipped with a spring-loaded mechanism housed in a compact cassette at the top of the window, ensuring smooth and convenient operation. When insect protection is needed, simply pull the mesh down to cover the window opening - side tracks keep it securely in place. With a gentle pull, the mesh automatically retracts back into the cassette. Easy one-hand operation with full window access when the screen is not in use.
Roller insect screens for windows are installed depending on the window type - on the outside of the window when it opens inward, or indoors when the window opens outward. The roller cassette and side tracks are securely mounted to the window frame with screws, while the operating mechanism is always positioned indoors for convenient use. Installation takes approximately 30-45 minutes using a drill, level, and screwdriver. All required mounting hardware and detailed instructions are included. The mechanism comes pre-assembled - you only need to connect the side tracks to the roller cassette, which is quick and easy. A step-by-step installation guide is available on the product page.
To correctly install a roller insect screen for your window, first determine the mounting location. If the screen will be installed inside the window opening, measure the height and width of the inner frame opening. If the screen will be mounted on the window reveal, measure the full height and width of the window opening. Take all measurements in millimeters (mm) using a metal tape measure to ensure maximum accuracy. Detailed step-by-step measuring instructions are available on the product page. When planning the installation, consider the overall product dimensions: roller cassette width - 40 mm, side track width - 32 mm each, track thickness - 29 mm each, track “leg” depth - 20 mm. Before ordering, make sure there is enough space on the window frame or within the opening for proper installation.
Yes, that's the main advantage of roller blinds. Simply retract the screen upward for full window access anytime. Lower it again when you want insect protection. This makes roller blinds ideal for windows you open and close daily.

If the problem meets the warranty conditions, the mechanism will be replaced under warranty. Yes, roller blinds can stay installed all year. Simply retract them when not in use (winter months). This protects the mesh and mechanism from weather. Year-round installation is one of the main advantages of roller blinds-no seasonal removal needed.
Extend the screen fully and vacuum or brush dust off gently. For deeper cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap-avoid soaking the mesh. Let air dry completely before retracting. Clean 2-3 times per year. Never use high-pressure washers on roller mechanisms.
Roller insect screens are not designed to be fitted with pet-resistant mesh. Standard mesh may be damaged if pets scratch, pull, or climb on it. The roller mechanism is more delicate than fixed framed screens, so it is recommended to supervise pets, especially at the beginning. If you have active cats or dogs, we recommend choosing insect screen solutions with pet-resistant mesh options, such as framed screens or hinged screen doors.
The price of a roller insect screen for a standard window typically starts from around €150 and may vary depending on size and selected options (mesh type, colours, etc.). The roller mechanism makes the product slightly more expensive than simple framed screens, but it provides significantly greater everyday convenience and flexibility. You will see the exact price while configuring your screen in the online calculator. Delivery and pickup options depend on your selected shipping method. Each insect screen is custom-made to your specified measurements to ensure a precise fit for your window.

This is an excellent product! I ordered one to give it a try in my new house in Sweden. Well, I will order a lot more now; one for each room to have a open window without insects. Compared to other branches (all expensive) the price is nice. It is a young factory. I wish them succes! Fixing with the little screws is a bit complicated. They drop off and fall inside the side. So a good method for me was: - I placed it completely together at the right place. - Drilled small holes in the wood through the openings at the front side. - Placed the two sides back on the floor lying on two shelves. - Then I put in the screws in the small holes with a magnetic screwdriver. - Hold the scews back when you take out the screwdriver. - Lift up a little and fiix the outcoming screws at the backside with a little glue, so the do not drop out. - Put it together again with the roll and put it up to the right place; first about 1 cm from the wall. - Keep it slightly slanted from top to bottom. - Start fixing at the upside. Than it will be fixed in 5 minutes.
